The Philippine Consulate General in Vancouver joined the Filipino-Canadian community in an evening of celebration, recognition, and cultural pride at the Salamat: Gabi ng Parangal at Pagkilala held on 22 November 2024. Organized by the Pinoy Festival Alliance Society, this event gathered over 500 attendees, including elected officials, community leaders, and supporters, to honor the significant contributions of Filipino-Canadian organizations and volunteers.

In her remarks, Consul Analyn D. Ratonel commended the community for their contributions to the multicultural fabric of Canada. She highlighted the importance of unity and cultural pride, emphasizing how events like these strengthen bonds within the Filipino-Canadian community.
